Information collected may include, for example: identifying information such as name and contact information including telephone and facsimile numbers and email address, information relating to the operation of a client’s business and reference information. This information may be collected in a number of ways, for example: via telephone, in writing or via email.
We collect personal information to be able to provide Member benefits and services and to facilitate adequate management of such benefits and services on behalf of our Members. We also collect personal information to allow us to meet our legal obligations.
Other purposes that we collect personal information for include: helping to develop and identify products and services that may interest Members and clients, conducting market or customer research and developing, establishing and administering alliances and other arrangements with other organisations in relation to the promotion, administration and use of our respective products and services.
The personal information we collect is only made available to those officers of Members or third parties as is required in order to provide the benefits and services described above.
If the required personal information is not provided, we or any involved third parties may not be able to provide appropriate services. Personal information is collected for the purposes described above. For example, an individual or business may elect to remain anonymous if making a general inquiry relating to the services Insight offers.
The personal information that we collect is used for establishing and maintaining products and services, reviewing Member's and client's ongoing needs, enhancing Member and client's services and product options and providing ongoing information or opportunities that we believe may be relevant. We may disclose personal information to our Members, insurers, reinsurers, other insurance intermediaries, insurance reference bureaus, industry bodies and groups as well as our advisers such as lawyers and accountants in connection with such use.
We do not otherwise use or disclose personal information for any purpose that is unrelated to our products and services or that you would not reasonably expect (except with your consent).
We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date whenever we collect, use or disclose it. All personal information related to you and identified by you as being incorrect will be updated by us in our database and, where applicable and appropriate, on our website.
When you provide us with personal information about other individuals, we rely on you to have made them aware that you will or may provide their information to us, the purposes we use it for, the types of third parties we disclose it to and how they can access it (as described in this document).

No fee will be charged by Insight for an access request. However, we may charge the reasonable cost of complying with the access request.
We will respond to your query or complaint as soon as possible and will try to resolve any complaint within 14 working days. If this is not possible, we will contact you within that time to let you know how long we estimate that it will take to resolve your complaint.
